How I Work

Before diving into the abundance of the rich visual universe of Russian history, I wanted to make a quick excursion to where I work.

So this is where it all happens. It’s the University of Helsinki campus library. I arrive here every day at eight.

And the inside looks like this.

It’s nice and quiet here on the second floor. The exam session has already ended and most students have gone to their summer holidays already.

Sometimes I also take long walks with this fellow here. We wander around in the nearby forest and fields. It works like charm when you have to make plans and gather your thoughts.

And this is the lovely laptop that my daughter has made me. I am using it all the time.

So much for today. The next post will finally be about Russian history again. No procrastination!

I am the author and editor of Smart History of Russia
