How It All Started

I started Smart History of Russia about four years ago. I started it because I was pissed off at Wikipedia.

That’s because I couldn’t find the dates and names that I was looking for in these articles. They were hidden inside a wall of text and hyperlinks that there was no time to read.

Here in the Foreword section, I have written about the pain in more detail. Google has solved the problem by now. Today you get the instant information in a textbox as you type in the search term. So the good old Wikipedia may remain as it is.
